I'm a hardgainer. Is this an excuse to eat fast food everyday?
numero uno asked:
I’ve gained about 9 pounds from 1.5 months of moderately-intensive gym training (lifting of weights using machines ‘n stuff). I play tennis for about 3 hours, 3 – 4 times a week.
Can I eat more fast food? I mean, they’re so delicious… I ate KFC and Pizza Hut today.
I think both meals add up to just over 2000 calories… but I played tennis!

No, you shouldn’t do that. Not just because of calories, but cholesterol and fat. You could still look healthy and have your arteries getting cholesterol blockage. If you MUST eat fast food, try just going a few times a week.
It doesn’t matter that you work out. That fact still remains that fast food is bad for everyone. Once in awhile is OK but on a daily basis is so bad.
eating fast food means you will gain weight. However, there are more contributing factors to that kind of lifestyle besides weight. i.e.( cholesterol, fatty build-up, clogged arteries, acne, depression, etc…) all these fast foods attribute to these things and more. Healthy is a lifestyle not one failed diet to another. The sooner you see it that way the better you will feel. Good Luck to you and YOUR decisions:)
Bang all the tennis balls you want…the sad truth is that fast food results in high cholesterol, heart disease, high blood pressure, and you name whatever else. Heath does not equal thin. You can be stick thin and on death’s door. Sorry, but that’s the truth. If your goal is to be thin, keep on keeping on. If your goal is to be healthy, cut the fast food garbabe out of your diet, for starters.
eating to much fast food can make you depressed.
sure you can you did play tennis right ha ha no fast food is not good for any body if you train so hard in gym why blow it on simple food like kfc or pizza hut
one it is not healthy u of all people should knw the consequences, what example are u giving to ppl.
You need a special diet prepared by a licensed food planner or licensed dietitian. Even tho you exercise more than most, you still need to be conservative with Fast Foods.
