I have been working out several months hoping to gain some muscle, but it did not happen. Surfed many websites, they only tell useless stories, nothing about workout plan.

For workouts, limit your cardio while you’re trying to bulk up. Only do half hour of cardio once or twice per week. When you do bulk up after a few months, you can always increase cardio to achieve the ripped look and burn any excess fat. Do your regular lifting routines with heavy weights, but put extra emphasis on mass exercises: bench press, bar dips, chinups, pullups, shoulder press, squats and deadlifts. They really help your overall mass. Buy a weight gainer with high carbohydrates and protein.
I agree with Philter. I’d even go so far to say to refrain from cardio altogether. If you’re doing your workouts right (high intenisty), your heart and lungs are getting definite workouts.
You may not be getting many fat-burning effects, especially if you aren’t doing aerobics, but why do you care? You’re a hardgainer and hardgainers don’t typically get fat.
1. Eat more
2. Train harder, less volume, more intensity
3. Get plenty of rest
That’s the basic prescription.
