Pre-exercise stretching really is bunk. It's best to get the blood flowing, then work out, and then stretch. The evidence actually shows that stretching before exercise not only doesn't prevent injuries, but it actually increases the chance for injury.
Bottom line: Stretching is for weenies 🙂
